Install on Windows
Before you start, sign up to get the installer.
Download the installer
Get the file from the downloads page. Its name starts with ensolpro and ends in .exe.
Run the installer
Double-click the file. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, check that you downloaded the file from this site, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Follow the setup steps
The default install folder works for most people.
Open EnSol Pro
Find it in the Start menu. If EnSol Pro asks for a beta key, enter the key shown on the downloads page after you registered. If the main window opens, the installation worked.
Troubleshooting
The installer will not start
Download the file again and check that the download finished. Then right-click the file and choose Run as administrator. If that does not help, move it out of the Downloads folder and open it again.
My antivirus blocked the file
Beta installers can trigger warnings. Make sure you downloaded the file from this site, then allow it in your antivirus settings. If the file is still blocked, email us and we will help.
EnSol Pro opens and closes right away
Restart your computer and try once more. If it still closes, email support@ensolpro.com with your operating system, the EnSol Pro version, and any error message you saw.
